Why did you become a personal trainer?

I started my fitness and weight loss journey over 2 years ago. I reached a point in my life where I had decided I needed a change and needed to lose weight. I found a personal trainer and she helped me throughout my journey. During this time I realised that not only was I changing physically but also mentally. I was becoming more adventurous, more positive and just happier. I don’t think that was necessarily to do with the physical changes (although that did help) I think it was more to do with the buzz and the new found fun I had when working out. I fell in love with fitness and healthy eating and I wanted to be able to bring all of this to other people and improve their physical and mental health in the process. 

How do you differ from other trainers?

I specialise in fat loss as it is an area I can relate to. I am able to bring my experience from losing 3 ½ stone myself to you and understand how to get the best from you in order to reach your goal.

Favourite exercise/equipment?

My favourite exercises to do are cardio intervals, this is because they can be done in a short space of time while still being able to benefit greatly from them. They’re also an exercise I can’t get bored with as you can do them on any piece of cardio equipment.

Guilty pleasure

My guilty pleasure is chocolate, it is definitely something I need to keep an eye on otherwise I could eat all of it!
