Why did you become a personal trainer?
After walking down a few different paths, I have found that there is nothing that competes with the enjoyment I have found in firstly training myself, and then guiding others along their fitness journeys. I get great enjoyment from seeing the satisfaction in others from them going above and beyond what they thought possible.
How do you differ from other trainers?
For me; fitness is not only physically but also mentally rewarding. Through my training I break I am always looking at how best I can incorporate various methods and approaches so that the program I develop for my clients is one that they enjoy, as well as maximising results. The individuality of the program to suit the client is the most important thing to ensure success.
Squat Rack When starting my own fitness journey I used to dread this, and if I ever missed a day then it would always be leg day. This has completely turned around now, and this is due to me understanding the mechanics of the squat, as well as adapting it for my own needs, (to strengthen my weak adductors)
Pizza and Ice-Cream. Not the best things for a healthy lifestyle, but I have managed to limit them to the very occasional treat.
